Dr Michael Chanoch graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and a BSc in Physiology, before completing his post-graduate courses in Paedodontics (child dentistry), Physiology, and Anxiety Management of the Anxious or Phobic Patient. He has practised in the UK since 1997, and was a part-time Clinical Tutor at Bristol University Dental Hospital in the Adult Restorative Department, before moving to Poole.
Michael has acquired a broad range of dental experience and skills, with much experience in minimally invasive dentistry (cosmetic and routine), root canal treatment, and adult orthodontics. His caring and empathetic manner makes him very good with anxious patients and children.
Prevention is the key to excellent oral health.
Michael is a highly skilled and compassionate dentist who has gained a reputation for his empathetic and calm approach. He understands that going to the dentist can be a daunting experience for some patients, which is why he takes the time to put them at ease.
Michael graduated from the Witwatersrand University in South Africa and relocated to the UK in 1997. He has since gained a wealth of experience in dentistry, including working as a clinical tutor at Bristol University Dental Hospital. He is committed to providing exceptional dental care at Penn Hill Dental since 2010 .
One of Michael’s core principles is minimally invasive dentistry. He strives to preserve his patients’ natural teeth for as long as possible by avoiding destructive treatments. He also places great importance on preventive care, taking the time to get to know his patients and tailoring oral health education to their individual needs.
Michael’s special interest lies in Endodontics, he enjoys performing Root Canal Treatments with the help of an operating microscope. He is passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry and continually improving his skills.
When Michael is not caring for his patients, he enjoys spending time with his two daughters. He finds energy in music, musicals, and long cycles in the beautiful coastal area of Dorset. Michael’s dedication to his patients and passion for his work make him a highly respected member of the dental community.
Chitra Reguna graduated (BDS) from Saveetha Dental University , India (2001)
Following graduation Chitra ran her own private practice in India until 2006 when she moved to the UK with her husband. She cleared the Statutory Exam in the UK and has been working in both NHS and private practice since then.
Chitra completed her Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Restorative from world renowned Eastman Dental University in 2015 with a distinction and since then has attended multiple courses nationally and internationally to keep up with latest advances in dentistry.
Chitra is very passionate about all aspects of Restorative dentistry with special interest in cosmetic dentistry including composite bonding and veneers. She’s a firm believer in minimally invasive dentistry and uses latest concepts in adhesive dentistry to restore failing teeth and dentition to restore them to their natural form, aesthetics and function.
As an empathetic person she finds it very rewarding working with anxious patients and children and providing them with the care they need in a calm and reassuring way.
Outside of work she likes spending time with her family and friends which also includes a 4 year old Corgi. Chitra strongly believes to be able to work efficiently one should look after their own physical and mental health and she does that by spending her free time either carrying out yoga or some strength training and a daily dose or meditation. She is also a red belt in Taekwondo.
Hannah qualified in July 2022 at the University of Portsmouth as a Dental Therapist. Hannah is passionate in reducing the anxiety felt towards visiting the dentist, with a particular interest in treating nervous patients. With a calm and caring manner, she ensures her patients leave feeling that they have received the best experience possible. Since graduating, Hannah has continued to develop her skills, training in teeth whitening and composite bonding. Alongside working as a dental therapist, Hannah can provide facial aesthetics including lip enhancements and anti wrinkle treatments; enhancing the features of the face with a natural approach. In her spare time, Hannah enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Anna qualified as a dental nurse in 2017 and re-joined Hill Dental in 2021 as a practice manager. She is committed to providing the best dental care to patients. With the Business and International Studies background, Anna can navigate through complex tasks and always puts patients’ interest first.
Anna loves art, music and a four-legged buddy Buddy.
Abbie has over 11 years of experience working in dentistry, in that time she has gained a wealth of knowledge. She joined the team at Penn Hill Dental in 2019, where she soon became Head Nurse.
Abbie particularly enjoys cosmetic dentistry and making anxious patients feel at ease.
Out of work, Abbie likes going to the gym, long beach walks with her dog Mylo, and attending live music events.
Parris has been a dental nurse for just over 5 years, during this time she has explored additional roles such as 3D scanning, skin care and chemical peels. She joined Penn Hill in June 22 and has since been assigned the role of enthusiasm practitioner. Outside of work, she enjoys keeping active, learning new words, going on adventures and thrill seeking.
Nikki entered the world of dentistry at the age of 17 and since has been continuously broadening her knowledge. Nikki is passionate about her job and excels at making a positive contribution to the patient experience. During her free time, Nikki enjoys visiting theme parks, walking her dogs and caravanning.
Ana qualified as a Dental nurse in 2023 after having worked as a Dental Receptionist for 3 years. She gained considerable experience in customer service during her previous employment in the hotel industry.
Ana likes staying busy and approaches her tasks with enthusiasm and professionalism. She particularly enjoys hygiene treatments, so much so that Ana is hoping to become a dental hygienist in the near future.
Outside work, Ana loves spending time with her family, cooking, socialising and exploring the outdoors.
